二名法 Bandicota indica(Bechstein, 1800)[2] 板齿鼠（学名：Bandicota indica）为鼠科板齿鼠属的动物，原生于中国、印度、印尼、老挝、缅甸、尼泊尔、斯里兰卡、泰国、越南，并引进马来西亚[1]。分布于中国的广西、广东、云南、四川、贵州、福建等地，主要生活于竹林、草地、沼泽边、甘蔗田。该物种的模式产地在印度。[2] 是血吸蟲Schistosoma spindale的寄主。[3][4]
亚种

板齿鼠华南亚种（学名：Bandicota indica nemorivaga），Hodgson于1836年命名。分布于中国的广西、广东、云南、四川、贵州、福建等地。该物种的模式产地在尼泊尔。[5]
