Acostina Bermúdez 1949

Acostina es un género de foraminífero bentónico de la familia Reussellidae, de la superfamilia Buliminoidea, del suborden Buliminina y del orden Buliminida.​​ Su especie tipo es Chrysalogonium piramidale. Su rango cronoestratigráfico abarca desde el Chattiense (Oligoceno superior) hasta la Actualidad.

Test elongate, pyramidal, triangular in section, angles carinate, chambers increasing rapidly in breadth but slowly in height as added, uniserial throughout, overlapping previous chambers for about half their height, terminal face domelike, sutures slightly arched at the center of the flattened faces, curving back on the angles; wall calcareous, perforate, surface smooth; aperture cribrate, consisting of numerous small pores at the center of the terminal face and produced on a slight neck.
