Leaf-blades oblong-ovate to obovate, about 2.5 cm. long, mucronate, appressedpubescent above, more densely and loosely pubescent beneath, with 2 deflexed slender basal auricles, short-petioled ; sepals ovate, about 3 mm. long ; petals glabrous, the blades suborbicular, denticulate ; stamens 5, all anther-bearing, thus differing from the following species.
Type locality : Mexico.
Distribution : Known only from the type locality.
