Hypidota neurias Schaus
Hypidota neurias Schaus, 1904, p. 137.
Forewing 21.5 mm. Head greyish yellow. Tegulae and anterior half of patagia greyish yellow; rest of thorax yellowish white. Forewing yellowish white; hindwing slightly lighter in color. Dorsal surface of abdomen orange-yellow except for segment 1, which is yellowish white. Ventral surface of abdomen yellowish white.
Described from an unspecified number of specimens from Castro, Paraná [Brazil]. Other than the type, there are no specimens of this species in the USNM collection.
Lectotype ♂: “Collection Wm. Schaus; Castro, Parana; Type No. 11076 U.S.N.M.; gen. nov. near Thalesa. Hypidota neurias Schaus type ♂; Lectotype ♂ Hypidota neurias Schaus By A. Watson 1967; Arctiidae genitalia slide No. AW620.”
