Afrasura obliterata is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Chad, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Togo and Uganda.[1]

Afrasura obliterata is een vlinder uit de familie spinneruilen (Erebidae), onderfamilie beervlinders (Arctiinae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1864 door Walker.
Deze nachtvlinder komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
