Glaucosia is a monotypic moth genus in the subfamily Arctiinae. Its only species, Glaucosia argyllia, is found in Espírito Santo, Brazil. Both the genus and species were first described by George Hampson in 1900.[1]

Glaucosia argyllia is een beervlinder uit de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1900 door Hampson.
