Gaudeator is a monotypic moth genus in the subfamily Arctiinae. Its single species, Gaudeator paidicus, is found in Panama. Both the genus and species were first described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1914.[1]

Gaudeator paidicus is een beervlinder uit de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1914 door Dyar.
