Gobiosoma paradoxum és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de Guaymas (Mèxic) fins a Guayaquil (Equador). També és present a la costa nord del Perú.^[3]

Distribución geográfica

Se encuentra desde Guaymas (México) hasta Guayaquil (Ecuador). También está presente en la costa norte del Perú.^[1]​

Observaciones

Es inofensivo para los humanos.

Gobiosoma paradoxum is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae).^[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1861 door Günther.

De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2007. De omvang van de populatie is volgens de IUCN stabiel.^[1]
