Parascorpaena mossambica és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.[5]
Descripció
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical que viu fins als 18 m de fondària.[6]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des de l'Àfrica oriental fins a les illes de la Societat, les illes Izu, Austràlia i la Micronèsia.[6][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]
Costums
S'amaga durant el dia i només s'aventura a sortir durant la nit.[6]
Observacions
És verinós per als humans.[6][25]
