Diaphus anderseni és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 3,2 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Reproducció

Assoleix la maduresa sexual quan arriba als 2,7 cm de longitud.^[4]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí d'aigües profundes que viu entre 100-560 m de fondària.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental,^[6] al Pacífic oriental (a prop de Hawaii)^[7][8] i al Pacífic occidental (Japó,^[9] Nova Zelanda^[10] i Austràlia).^{[11][12][4][13]}

Diaphus anderseni, the Andersen's lantern fish, is a species of lanternfish found in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.^[1]

Size

This species reaches a length of 3.2 cm (1.3 in).^[2]

Etymology

The fish is named in honor of Tåning's friend, N. C. Andersen, physician on board the Danish research vessel Dana which embarqued on different cruises in the northern and the southern seas.^[3]

Diaphus anderseni is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van lantaarnvissen (Myctophidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1932 door Tåning.

安氏眶灯鱼（学名：Diaphus anderseni）为輻鰭魚綱燈籠魚目灯笼鱼科的其中一種，分布於太平洋及大西洋海域，屬深海魚類，棲息深度180-600公尺，體長可達3.2公分。
