Conus arangoi is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1]
Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.
This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
The maximum recorded shell length is 45.5 mm.[2]
Minimum recorded depth is 10 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 30 m.[2]

Conus arangoi is een in zee levende slakkensoort uit het geslacht Conus. De slak behoort tot de familie Conidae. Conus arangoi werd in 1977 beschreven door Sarasúa.[1] Net zoals alle soorten binnen het geslacht Conus zijn deze slakken roofzuchtig en giftig. Zij bezitten een harpoenachtige structuur waarmee ze hun prooi kunnen steken en verlammen.[2]
