Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.
The size of the shell varies between 20 mm and 45 mm.
This marine species occurs off the Philippines.

Conus pica is een in zee levende slakkensoort uit het geslacht Conus. De slak behoort tot de familie Conidae. Conus pica werd in 1758 beschreven door Carolus Linnaeus.[1] Net zoals alle soorten binnen het geslacht Conus zijn deze slakken roofzuchtig en giftig. Zij bezitten een harpoenachtige structuur waarmee ze hun prooi kunnen steken en verlammen.[2]
