Monocercops resplendens is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from India (West Bengal, Meghalaya, Uttaranchal) and Nepal.[2]

The larvae feed on Shorea robusta. They mine the leaves of their host plant.

Monocercops resplendens is een vlinder uit de familie van de mineermotten (Gracillariidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1862 door Stainton.[1]
