Gymnoscelis crassifemur is a moth in the family Geometridae. It was described by William Warren in 1906. It is endemic to New Guinea.[2] The wings are 17 millimetres (0.67 in) long. Its hindwings are violet while its abdomen and thorax are green.[3]

Gymnoscelis crassifemur is een vlinder uit de familie van de spanners (Geometridae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1906 door William Warren.[2]
De vlinder werd verzameld door Albert Stewart Meek in Brits-Nieuw-Guinea in de periode 1904-1905.
