Morfologia

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pakistan, el nord-est de l'Índia, Bangladesh i Birmània.^[4]

Ompok pabo or Pabo catfish (Assamese: পাভ মাছ) is a freshwater fish from the family Siluridae (Sheatfishes) native to Pakistan, North-East India, Bangladesh and Myanmar. It is found in rivers, ponds and lakes. It can grow up to the length of 25 cm.।^[1]

Ompok pabo is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de echte meervallen (Siluridae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1822 door Hamilton.

帕布絢鯰，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於亞洲巴基斯坦、印度東北部、孟加拉與緬甸淡水流域，體長可達25公分，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明，可做為食用魚。
