It is found in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Mayumbe) and possibly Guinea.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

Neptis nebrodes is een vlinder uit de onderfamilie Limenitidinae van de familie Nymphalidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1874 door William Chapman Hewitson.
