Ephysteris ornata is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Anthonie Johannes Theodorus Janse in 1950. It is found in Namibia and the South African province of Gauteng.[1]
The larvae feed on Osteospermum muricatum.[2]

Ephysteris ornata is een vlinder uit de familie tastermotten (Gelechiidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1950 door Janse.
De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
