This is a nice sage growing in the semidesert of Israel. The speciues penerates the Mediterranean climatic region along the coastal sandy plain. It is believed that hairs decreases water loss in desert plants such as this one.
This desert sage has a woody base, blooms in spring and characteryzed by its long hairs. Since this year was very rainy lots of desert flowers appear now and its more or less nature lover's paradise only for 2 months.
