Erodium crassifolium is a desert perennial nerhb, its roots are producing tubers. The beautiful flwoers open in the early morning and wilt already in lunchtime.

Here u can see Erodium crassifolium seeds after dispersed and stuck in the ground. During this season the ground is full of these seeds with their feather-like awns.
