Trichorthosia tristis Barnes & McDunnough 1910

Anhypotrix tristis is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by William Barnes and James Halliday McDunnough in 1910. It is found from eastern Arizona and northern New Mexico southward in the Sierra Madre Occidental to the state of Durango in Mexico.

The length of the forewings is 15–18 mm and the wingspan is about 30 mm. Adults have been collected in conifer forest habitats from early May until early August.

Trichorthosia tristis is een vlinder uit de familie van de uilen (Noctuidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1910 door Barnes & McDunnough.

Anhypotrix tristis^[1] là một loài bướm đêm thuộc họ Noctuidae. Nó được tìm thấy ở miền đông Arizona và miền bắc New Mexico phía nam đến Sierra Madre Occidental đến bang Durango ở México.

Chiều dài cánh trước là 15–18 mm và Sải cánh khoảng 30 mm. Con trưởng thành bay ở nơi sinh sống rừng lá kim từ đầu tháng 5 cho đến đầu tháng 8.
