Eunoe macrophthalma is a scale worm described from the South Atlantic Ocean from a depth of about 2200m.[2]
The species has 15 pairs of elytra (assumed). Lateral antennae inserted ventrally (beneath prostomium and median antenna). Notochaetae about as thick as neurochaetae. Bidentate neurochaetae absent.[3]

Eunoe macrophthalma is een borstelworm uit de familie Polynoidae. Het lichaam van de worm bestaat uit een kop, een cilindrisch, gesegmenteerd lichaam en een staartstukje. De kop bestaat uit een prostomium (gedeelte voor de mondopening) en een peristomium (gedeelte rond de mond) en draagt gepaarde aanhangsels (palpen, antennen en cirri).
Eunoe macrophthalma werd in 1924 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door McIntosh.
