DISTRIBUTION.—Panamic Province (eastern Pacific), Florida and the West Indies to Brazil; tropical west Africa, St. Helena, and Ascension.

Bursa corrugata (gaudy frog shell) is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Bursidae, the frog shells.[1]
The subspecies Bursa corrugata lineata Nowell-Usticke, 1959 has become a synonym of Bursa granularis (Röding, 1798)
Distribution
This marine species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean off West Africa, the Canary Islands, Cape Verdes and Brazil; in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Lesser Antilles.
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 75 mm.[2]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 2 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 137 m.[2]
