Muricopsis rosea (Reeve 1846)

Muricopsis (Risomurex) rosea, common name : the pink drupe, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.^[1]

Description

The shell grows to a length of 15 mm

Distribution

This species is distributed in the Caribbean Sea; the Gulf of Mexico; in the Indian Ocean along the Mascarene Basin.

Muricopsis (Risomurex) rosea is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Muricidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1846 door Reeve.

Vỏ ốc có kích thước 15 mm

Phân bố

Loài này phân bố ở Biển Caribe; Vịnh Mexico; ở Ấn Độ Dương dọc theo lưu vực Mascarene.
