Turkozelotes

Turkozelotes is a genus of ground spiders that was first described by M. M. Kovblyuk in 2009.^[2] As of May 2019 it contains only three species: T. mccowani, T. microb, and T. mirandus.^[1]

Es originaria de la provincia de Adana en Turquía.

Turkozelotes microb, Gnaphosidae familyasından 2009 yılında keşfedilmiş, Türkiye'de endemik monotipik Turkozelotes cinsinin tek türü olan ufak gececil bir örümcek türüdür.

Adlandırma

Cins adı (Turkozelotes), dünyada yalnızca Türkiye'de bulunduğu için Türkiye'nin İngilizce karşılığı olan Turkey kelimesinin "Turk" kısmı ile benzediği örümcek cinsi Zelotes kelimesinden birleştirme yoluyla türetilmiştir. Tür epiteti (microb) ise Rusça «mikrop, çok ufak mikroskobik hayvan» anlamına gelen микроб (mikrob) kelimesidir^[1].

Morfoloji

Erkek 3,2 mm boyundadır. Esas rengi açık sarı-gri, scutum açık kahverengi, kitap akciğerleri açık sarıdır^[1].

Yayılımı

Türkiye'de^[2] endemiktir. Yalnızca Adana ilinden kayıt yapılmıştır^[1].
