Sacada approximans is a species of snout moth first described by John Henry Leech in 1889. It is found in Korea, Japan, China, Myanmar and India.[1]
The wingspan is 25–35 mm.[2] Adults are on wing from May to August.
The larvae feed on Quercus acutissima, Quercus acuta and Castanea crenata.

Sacada approximans is een vlinder uit de familie van de snuitmotten (Pyralidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1888 door Leech.
