Amauris inferna Butler 1871

Amauris inferna is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Tanzania.^[2] The habitat consists of forests.

Adult males mud-puddle.

Amauris inferna is een vlinder uit de familie Nymphalidae, onderfamilie Danainae.

De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1871 door Arthur Gardiner Butler.^[1]
