fornecido por AmphibiaWeb articles
A small forest Hyperolius (males 20–23 mm, females 23–29 mm) from Cameroun. Dorsum yellowish, brown, beige, greyish or greenish with a lighter pattern. Ventrum in males translucent beige, yellowish to pale green, soles of feet black. Females often with black ventral pigmentation. Femur of females red to orange. Gular flap in males rather large and green or yellow. Pupil horizontal.H. endjami is very similar and possibly related to H. acutirostris and H. mosaicus. It seems to be separated into two populations in Cameroun, with some differences in dimensions and pattern. H. endjami differs from H. acutirostris and H. mosaicus in its larger gular flap and reduced black ventral pigmentation. From H. acutirostris furthermore it differs in pattern in that the dorsal markings do not form transverse bands and the light band on the hindpart of the back in acutirostris is absent in endjami. From H. mosaicus it differs in the absence of small white tubercles on its back. This account was taken from "Treefrogs of Africa" by Arne Schiøtz with kind permission from Edition Chimaira (http://www.chimaira.de/) publishers, Frankfurt am Main.
