Aderyn a rhywogaeth o adar yw Iâr diffeithwch goronog (sy'n enw benywaidd; enw lluosog: ieir diffeithwch coronog) a adnabyddir hefyd gyda'i enw gwyddonol Pterocles coronatus; yr enw Saesneg arno yw Crowned sandgrouse. Mae'n perthyn i deulu'r Ieir y Diffeithwch (Lladin: Pteroclididae) sydd yn urdd y Columbiformes.^[1]

Talfyrir yr enw Lladin yn aml yn P. coronatus, sef enw'r rhywogaeth.^[2] Mae'r rhywogaeth hon i'w chanfod yn Asia ac Affrica.
