Description: English: Two whole kernels extracted from the fruit of the tree Dacryodes edulis, from two separate fruits to show both front and back details and segmented structure. Fruit called nsafu - safoutier - butterfruit sometimes called African pear/plum. Measured size of these two on left 5.5 cm x 3 cm and right 4.5 cm x 3 cm. Date: 11 February 2016. Source: Own work.
