Fr. Image location: Mossman Gorge, Queensland, Australia Fruit body quite rubbery and solid. Very fine gills (not visible in photos well) on underside with white spores. Tastes quite mild, does not stain or bruise immediately but shows some brown discolouration after picking. Mature specimens dry and turn brown on aging. Found next to a river slightly elevated in a gorge. Growing on rainforest hard wood. Ganoderma found on fallen tree directly adjacent to specimen.
