Caloptilia serotinella (cherry leaf roller) is a moth of the family Gracillariidae, found in North America.[1]
The caterpillar generates the force required to roll leaves by stretching the silk strands it fixes between opposable plant surfaces.[2] It communicates with other cherry leaf rollers by scraping, plucking and vibrating.[3]

Caloptilia serotinella is een vlinder uit de familie van de mineermotten (Gracillariidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1910 door Ely.[1]
