Amaranthus viridis (Slender Amaranth) is a species of annual herb in the family Amaranthaceae. They are native to US Minor Outlying Islands, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 9 dm.
