Cochlodesma praetenue (European Spoon Clam) is a species of mussels in the family Periplomatidae. European Spoon Clam form shallow marine sediments. It is a downward conveyor. Individuals can grow to 40 mm. European Spoon Clam has sexual reproduction. It is a facultatively mobile animal.
