Malacothrix glabrata (Smooth Desertdandelion) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Messor pergandei, Honey bee, 7-spot ladybird, and Eupompha elegans.
