Coccinella septempunctata (7 Spot Ladybird) is a species of beetles in the family ladybird beetles. They are native to Asia and the Palearctic. They visit flowers of Canadian Horseweed, petunia, Nanking cherry, and Douglas's milkvetch. They are diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
