Schismus barbatus (Common Mediterranean Grass) is a species of annual grass in the family true grasses. They are native to North America, mediterranean region, and Africa. Flowers are visited by Eleodes armata, Cordylospasta opaca, Inflated Beetle, and 7-spot ladybird.
