Zostera marina (Eelgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family Zosteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, North America, Alaska, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Eelgrass form sea grass beds.
