Lypusa is a genus of moths of the Lypusidae family, traditionally held to be a monotypic lineage of Tineoidea. However, it may actually belong to the same lineage of Gelechioidea as the Amphisbatinae (or Amphisbatidae).[1]

Lypusa[1][2] är ett släkte av fjärilar som beskrevs av Philipp Christoph Zeller 1852. Enligt Dyntaxa[1] ingår Lypusa i familjen tubmalar, Lypusidae, men enligt Catalogue of Life[2] är tillhörigheten istället familjen säckspinnare, (Psychidae). Det skiljer även i överfamilj i de båda källorna då Dyntaxa hänför tubmalarna till överfamiljen Gelechioidea[1] medan Catalogue of Life hänför säckspinnarna till överfamiljen Tineoidea.[2]
