Hypostomus multidens is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de harnasmeervallen (Loricariidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2007 door Jerep, Shibatta & Zawadzki.
