The Iranian worm snake (Xerotyphlops wilsoni) is a species of snake in the family Typhlopidae.[3][4] The species is endemic to Iran.
The specific name, wilsoni, is in honor of Arnold Talbot Wilson, who was a British military officer, diplomat, and amateur naturalist.[5]

Cette espèce est endémique du Sud-Ouest de l'Iran[1].
L'holotype de Xerotyphlops wilsoni[2] mesure 34 cm et dont le diamètre au milieu du corps est d'environ 0,9 cm. Cette espèce a le corps uniformément brun sale.
Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur d'Arnold Talbot Wilson (1884-1940)[3].
