Crepidula est un genre de mollusques gastéropodes appartenant à la famille des Calyptraeidae. Leur coquille ne comporte qu'un seul verticille et ils se nourrissent par microphagie suspensivore, en filtrant l'eau qui passe à leur portée.

Crepidula is een geslacht van weekdieren, dat fossiel bekend is vanaf het Laat-Krijt. Tegenwoordig bestaan er nog enkele soorten van dit geslacht.
Dit muiltje heeft een pantoffelvormige schaal met een gedraaide punt. De schaal bevat een grote mondopening, die deels bedekt is door een dunne plaat, ter bescherming van de ingewanden van het dier. De lengte van de schelp bedraagt ongeveer 2 cm.
Dit mariene geslacht bewoont ondiepe zeeën op steeds dezelfde ondergrond. Het voedt zich met in het water zwevende voedseldeeltjes.
