Drymodes beccarii Salvadori 1876

The Papuan scrub robin or New Guinea scrub robin (Drymodes beccarii) is a species of bird in the family Petroicidae. It was found to be genetically distinct from the northern scrub robin, with which it was formerly considered conspecific.^[2]

It is found in New Guinea and the Aru Islands. There are three subspecies.

• D. b. beccarii (Salvadori, 1876) – Arfak and Wandammen Mountains, western New Guinea
• D. b. brevirostris (De Vis, 1897) – southern and south-eastern New Guinea with the Aru Islands
• D. b. nigriceps (Rand, 1940) – northern New Guinea eastwards to Telefomin, with the Torricelli Mountains and Adelbert Range

L'usignolo di macchia papua (Drymodes beccarii Salvadori, 1876) è un uccello della famiglia dei Petroicidi endemico della Nuova Guinea^[2].

Tassonomia

Fino a poco tempo fa veniva considerato una semplice sottospecie dell'usignolo di macchia settentrionale, ma recenti studi genetici hanno dimostrato che si tratta di una specie a tutti gli effetti^[3]. Attualmente ne vengono riconosciute due sottospecie^[2]:

• D. b. beccarii Salvadori, 1876 (isole Aru e Nuova Guinea occidentale, meridionale e sud-orientale);
• D. b. nigriceps Rand, 1940 (Nuova Guinea centro-settentrionale e centrale).

De papoeafluiter (Drymodes beccarii) is een zangvogel uit de familie Petroicidae (Australische vliegenvangers).

Papuasnårsydhake^[2] (Drymodes beccarii) är en fågel i familjen sydhakar inom ordningen tättingar.^[3] Tidigare betraktades den som underart till D. superciliaris. IUCN kategoriserar den som livskraftig.^[1]

Papuasnårsydhake förekommer på Nya Guinea och delas in i tre underarter med följande utbredning:^[3]

• D. b. beccarii – nordvästra Nya Guinea (Arfak- och Wandammenbergen)
• D. b. nigriceps – Cyclopsbergen och Sudirmanbergens norra sluttning
• D. b. brevirostris – södra och sydöstra Nya Guinea samt Aruöarna
