Borosia is a monotypic snout moth genus described by László Anthony Gozmány in 1959. Its only species, Borosia aegyptiaca, described by the same author in the same year, is found in Egypt.[2]

Borosia aegyptiaca is een vlinder uit de familie van de snuitmotten (Pyralidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1959 door Gozmány.
