Pristimantis thectopternus (Lynch 1975)

Pristimantis thectopternus, commonly called the Northern Cordilleras robber frog, is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae.^[2] It is endemic to Colombia. Its natural habitats are tropical moist montane forests, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.

Distribución

Esta especie es endémica de Colombia. Habita entre los 1800 y 2600 m de altitud:

• en la Cordillera Occidental en los departamentos de Cauca y Antioquia;
• en la cordillera Central en los departamentos de Valle del Cauca y Caldas.^[4]​

Descripción

Los machos miden de 24.2 a 35.4 mm y las hembras hasta los 47.0 mm.
