불미역치과(Congiopodidae)는 페르카목에 속하는 조기어류 과의 하나이다.[1] 이전에는 쏨뱅이목으로 분류했다. 남반구에서 발견되는 어류로 온대와 아남극 지역의 수심 600m 깊이의 바닥에서 서식한다. 몸에는 비늘이 없으며, 작은 입과 돌출된 주동이를 갖고 있다.[2] 3개 속으로 이루어져 있으며, 불미역치(Congiopodus leucopaecilus) 등을 포함하고 있다.
