Amselia heringi is a species of moth in the family Crambidae.^[1] The species was first described by Hans Georg Amsel in 1935,^[a] and is the type species of genus Amselia.^[2]

It is found in multiple countries in the Middle East, as well as Morocco.^[3] Its type locality is in Israel.^[3]

The forewing colour is variable.^[3]
