Several-stemmed, suffruticulose, the stems subsimple or branched, spreading, densely puberulous with very short wide-spreading hairs, 5.5-11 cm. long; leaves obovate-spatulate, 5-11 mm. long, 1.5-3.6 mm. wide, acutish, mucronate, long-cuneate at base, coriaceous, sparsely spreading-puberulous; racemes loose, 1-2.5 cm. long; upper sepal oval, the lower ovate, obtuse, herbaceous with very narrow white border, 1 mm. long; wings obovate, 2.6 mm. long, 0.9 mm. wide, obtuse, not involute, green with narrow white margin; keel 2.3 mm. long, the crest on each side of 2 lobes; capsule oval-oblong, narrowly winged on upper side, 2.8 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide; seed puberulous, 2 mm. long; aril 1.2 mm. long, the 2 lobes linearoblong.
Type locality: Caracol Mountains, Coahuila. Distribution: Known only from the tyoe locality.
