Winter range generally confined to warm water effluents and Southern Florida; summer range includes confirmed sightings from Massachusetts to Texas (coastal) and up the Mississippi as far as Memphis, Tennessee. Also, confirmed travel by known individuals to Cuba and the Bahamas.
