A fully webbed Leptopelis, smaller (females 48 mm) than the other species with similar webbing (rufus, millsoni and calcaratus) and with a different pattern which resembles that of the larger L. boulengeri.Colour in alcohol: Brown with a peculiar lighter "window" in the shoulder region.The description is based on a single specimen, an adult female.
