But then I saw on Mycoportal that Scott Bates, a former DED grad student, had collected asprata in several AZ locations. so this might be one of those. If you look closely at the DED example on the recent Cyptotrama paper from China, its location is not stated or rather, stated with a ? In other words, we are still piecing together this puzzle.
